I Stand with Planned Parenthood
In states around the country, anti-choice legislators are trying to eliminate funding for family planning or block Planned Parenthood’s participation in public health programs. These bills place political ideology over basic health care, putting the lives of millions of women and families at risk.
In addition, 56 percent of the state bills regarding reproductive health introduced this year seek to restrict abortion access, up from 38 percent last year. In Oregon, extremists are working to put an anti-choice measure on the 2012 ballot to remove funding for abortion from low-income women.
